We were so happy to be part of Chef Franck Iglesias’ opening of Cake by Franck. From the moment you walk into the pretty shop you absorb the fantastic aroma of sweets and are quickly beguiled by an array of beautiful edible creations.
As soon as the temps dip and I find myself jumping from one heated environment to another I notice my skin getting dryer by the day. Although I already have a few favorite go-to lotions that I’m terribly loyal to I’m also on the lookout for new products that offer to help out.

Being married to an Italian means lots of wine and lots coffee. After dinner we usually have coffee and a dessert. Affogato is the perfect marriage of coffee and dessert. It is so simple to make yet such a genius concoction.
After learning how to make these for myself I couldn’t believe how easy they are to do. When and only when I find myself in a French patisserrie will I ever buy them again!
