Welcome back friends! I’m mixing things up a little this week by starting with a recap of a great lunch I had over the weekend. Vinted Wine Bar in West Hartford’s chic neighborhood at Blue Black Square recently launched a new lunch menu and invited us to sample it. I have to say Vinted is as fabulous as the small bites are impressive! And from the moment we stepped into this very cozy place the refreshing Pinot Grigio glasses came rolling in. Clockwise: Roasted Shrimp Kale Salad in a fantastic buttermilk dressing; my favorite appetizer of all were the Federal Risotto Balls made with parmesan and truffle butter, need I say more! The Forest Mushroom Quesadilla was divine and the Beet with Prociutto spread was amazing.The Orange Apple cocktail was the perfect compliment to the Honey BBQ Chicken Sliders!And lastly, we finished our fantastic lunch with an equally fantastic and very holiday-ish drink known as the Grasshopper, sweet and smooth with a touch of mint! If you happen to be in the Hartford area I highly suggest you make a pit stop over at Vinted Wine Bar, you will not be disappointed.
